Yingqi possesses a BSc in information
engineering from Harbin Engineering University in China and a Ph.D. from
Aston Business School, Aston University, UK. Her main research interests
are foreign direct investment, international trade and economic development.
Recently she has focused on researching the impact of foreign direct investment
on the Chinese economy. Yingqi has taught a range of subjects at both
undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including International Business,
Foreign Direct Investment, Economics, Economies of China and India, Emerging
Economies, Mathematical Economics, Statistics, and Econometrics. Yingqi
previously worked at the University of Sheffield, the University of Lancaster,
Aston University and the University of Aberty Dundee. She has also taught
at Helsinki School of Economics, Finland and Sun Yat-sun University, China.

of Chinese Economic and Business Studies and a board member of Chinese
Economic Association (www.ceauk.org.uk).
